Fate and our life journey can be an interesting and perplexing thought. Do we predetermine what we will become in life, or are our decisions made through choices and our destiny predetermined?
It is often said that life is made up of decisions and choices. Through self-exploration and individual growth, it can be possible to create a life of your own, where you choose your own path.
Some of the ways to do this are:
- Define Your Goals & Ambitions: Begin by listing your current aspirations and then adding to that list as your goals evolve with experience and insight.
- Explore: Get out and discover new experiences. Try things you’ve never done before, meet new people, and gain hands-on experience in your desired career path.
- Take Opportunities: Don’t be afraid to take risks and grab opportunities when they arise. Follow your intuition and see where opportunity and your ambition can lead you.
On the other hand, there is the suggestion that our life work is predetermined by fate. This means that we are born into our life and our surroundings determine the course of our life.
For example, our family, socio-economic and educational backgrounds play an important role in the decisions we make and the paths we take. We may have a predetermined set of skills and talents that will lead us in life and determine our eventual career.
Ultimately, it seems that we are born with some predefined life work, but our choices, decisions, and exploration are what shape and define parts of this journey. No matter our fate, it is important to take risks and have the courage to expand our horizons and chase our dreams.
