- Be dishonest. Withhold information, leave out details, or flat out lie. This confuses the other person and makes them insecure.

- Backstab them. Make them think you care about them, but then talk about them behind their back.

- Be unreliable. Make plans and then cancel them at the last minute.

- Pass judgment on their decisions.

- Deliberately do things to annoy them.

- Don’t ever compliment them or acknowledge their successes – make them feel they’re not good enough.
