Life on the Line is a drama-thriller film released in 2015. It tells the gripping story of a group of linemen tasked with restoring power to a small Texan town during a devastating storm. So, where did the cinematic masterpiece get filmed?

Life on the Line was primarily filmed on-site in various locations located in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Most of the outdoor scenes, particularly those focused on the storm, were filmed in Langley, a city in the Fraser Valley of southwestern British Columbia.

    • Vancouver International Airport -scences set in the local airport were filmed at Vancouver International Airport.
    • Chilliwack Airport – scenes that required larger aircraft for the storm sequence were filmed here.
    • Coquitlam’s Old Pinetree Community Centre – several sequences focused on the linemen was shot at Coquitlam’s Old Pinetree Community Centre located on Pinetree Way.
    • Smoke and Mirrors Studio – special effects shots were filmed at the Smoke & Mirrors Studio.
